Ella Darling Achievement Center has many different academic programs. The programs are there to help each student gain success. The programs include: SOS, Fast Track, the GED, and Alternative Program.

 

-The SOS Program (Successful Overage Program) is 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students that are two grades behind. The program is designed to help them gain more knowledge as well as  promote academic excellence for each student. As the students successfully complete their grade level, they will be promoted according to the teachers view of success.    

                         

-The Fast Track Program consists of 7th graders who are two grades behind. This program will help the students gain knowledge to prepare  them for the high school.

 

-The GED Program is based for students ages 16 or higher that are two or more grades behind. The students learn basic knowlege of each academic subject to complete the GED comprehensive exam.    

 

-The Alternative Program is a behavioral program for students that displayed inappropriate behaviors at their school. This program focuses on building students to do more positive things or aspects. Meanwhile, the program has two components that some students may be placed for their negative behaviors such as: ISS (in school suspension) and RTI(response to intervention).
